He kneeled down and picked up the candroid by the tail while the ice cream rested in the corner of his mouth, scrutinizing it closely as it made some robotic noises

He skidded to a stop in the hallway, watching with slight awe as the eel squirmed about mechanically in the other's grip. To say it was reminiscent of Double's gadgets would sort of be an understatement.
However, it was Fang who spoke up first, eliciting a loud roar and hopping on his human's shoulder.

He was watching it carefully, and this would be a more serious image if he didn't still have the ice cream poking out of his mouth. Still, he didn't look none too pleased.

"What is this?"
...lets ignore he was just throwing the candroid at him with probable-malicious intent.

Ankh made a 'tch' sound at this turn of events (which was a bit muffled due to the ice cream), and grabbed the popsicle out of his mouth with his left hand. "None of your business," Ankh stated, marching over to the strange guy angrily and ripping the Eel out of his grip with his right hand rather violently-- which ended up being a mistake, because he immediately recoiled from the bruising on his hand and dropped the Eel to the floor again, cursing under his breath.
"More importantly, what the hell is that thing?" He asked once he had recovered, as he jerked his head at Fang, his left hand how holding his right hand as well as the ice cream.

However, he didn't seem like he was going to answer Ankh's question either, and finally looked up with a frown. "Where's it's memory?" If someone had made a robotic gadget like this, it had to have a memory slot somewhere.

"What's a memory?" He finally asked back, his temper seeming to calm a bit only because he had a defunct hand and was trying to gather some information.

Disregarding Ankh further lead to Phillip toying with the eel some more, before accidentally poking just the right spot- and staring with fascination as it turned in to a can.
Then he flipped the top, and it went back to eel. Then, can. Then eel. Can. Eel. Can. Eel.

Of course this guy seemed pretty intent on ignoring Ankh and messing with the robot, and when the candroid turned back into its can form, he just watched with disinterest. And kept watching with disinterest. And some more because the guy just kept messing with it. Alright this was getting dumb.
A roll of his eyes, and Ankh stuffed the ice cream into the corner of his mouth again and swiped the Eel away from Philip once again with his left hand when it was in can mode.

"What is it, then?"

He angrily contemplated whether or not he wanted to answer this guy, before looking away and relenting with a 'tch.' "If you want to know, tell me what the hell a 'gaia memory' is." Well, half-relenting.

"It's a candroid," Ankh said, narrowing his eyes. "Created by the Kougami Foundation. That one there can electrocute things."
Reply
"A Gaia Memory is a piece of the planet's memory. It allows people to become dopants." Just like that, Phillip turned Fang back in to a dinosaur.
Reply
So, the Dino candroid was actually one of those memory things? Interesting. "What's a dopant? Do all of these memories walk around and screech like that thing?"
Reply
...yes, he fully intends to keep doing this.
