Characters: Romeo and passers by Setting: Dormitory level Format: whatever Summary: Romeo doesn't like his job too much, and he doesn't feel too well Warnings:
Romeo looked up to see miss Madeline and tried to smile, but he still felt dizzy so smiling was hard, "No, it's okay miss, I just don't feel too good..." He closed his eyes again.
"Nonsense, you should be in bed. You look dead on your feet." She scooped him up, even if he protested and looked around, "Which one is your room, dear?"
Romeo wriggled a bit but he didn't think miss Madeline would hurt him, he was just unused to being carried, he wasn't a child! "1-02," he murmered, "But I'll get into trouble if I don't clean all the bathrooms!"
Canada set him on the bed and petted his hair, adopting a mock stern look cultivated for just such occasions.
"You can miss a day and frankly if you are in there every day, you may end up sicker than this. Take this as a breather and relax. I'll be back in a moment with some water."
Romeo blinked, the only time he had ever taken time off work before was when he had broken his leg and couldn't climb chimneys, he really wasn't too sick to work but he sat on his bed like he had been told and waited for miss Madeline to come back.
Somehow that led to lying on his bed, and by the time she did return he was half asleep.
She returned after a few minutes, taking care not to spill the water on her return.
"Luckily I snagged a few glasses from the cafeteria--" She instantly lowered her voice when she saw he was nearly asleep and knelt beside his bed offering the water.
Romeo blinked and came a little bit more awake, he sat up slightly and took the glass being careful not to spill, "Thank you miss!" He said before taking a sip.
"It's nothing dear. You should be careful, you don't need to get hurt." Canada knelt at his bedside, watching to make sure he drank enough, "Does that help?"
"Chemicals? You mean the bad smelling stuff in the water? Why isn't it safe? Is it poisoness?" Canada had proven herself to be nice so Romeo felt comfertable asking her questions.
"Most things like that in the water are meant to be diluted. That is, made safe for use by adding more water. A lot of things are not safe in large quantities. Maybe if we dilute the chemicals it won't bother you do much." She didn't really feel comfortable telling him that yes, the chemicals can poison you.
"Are you...I'm sorry, do you want me to stay out?"

"I don't know why I got dizzy!"

She frowned for a moment, vaguely aware that he might not understand what she meant, but waiting to see.
