DAY ONE - Mingle animusmods June 11 2011, 03:56:53 UTC

She showed up bright and early, taking off her beret to play with the pin and then replacing it on her head. It was finally time to get some answers and she was ready to listen. And someone had to keep her two Americas from jumping the stage. Of course she was more worried about her sister, who as of yet, didn't appear to realize their world had ended.

Loki showed up early as well, though it seemed that he arrived too early: the stage was empty, though there were a few people around. None of them appeared to be Asgardians, or at least Asgardians that he knew. If Volstagg were here, the kitchen would be barren already.

But even if they weren't the people, they were some people who might know a thing or two, and so he approached one in the hopes of learning something...a name or two would do. "Ah, hello." He flashed a smile he hoped looked sincere, though it erred somewhat on the side of sly or mischievous. "I haven't missed anything, have I? My name is Loki."

She smiled back with a hint of curiosity in her gaze. A new face, though surely everyone was new to each other. It didn't stop her from gesturing to a seat and shifting in her seat to sit up straighter.

"Nothing has happened yet, so don't worry. I'm Canada, it's nice to meet you."

DAY ONE - Dax and Riki animusmods June 11 2011, 03:57:41 UTC
The man who approaches the makeshift stage is certainly the more energetic of the pair; the other man seems perfectly fine sitting to the side out of the way, although after a moment he joins the first man. The first man--dressed in a suit and looking the most professional, certainly--clears his throat and adjusts his microphone a touch ( ... )

Hesitantly, Fletcher raises his hand, then puts it down, then raises it again. He has to ask.

"Um... Wh-what about... the other people from our worlds?" he asks. "What happened to them?"

Riki glanced uncertainly at Dax, who smiled as if this wasn't an awkward question at all. "We will be attempting to bring as many as we can to the tower, so it's likely you will see them again, since we've been able to get in touch with your world at least once. I'm not clear on the details, though."

"So--so they're okay?" Fletcher's eyes are wide with relief and surprise. His brother's okay? If that's true, nothing else is a problem. He'll push that overflowing cart of books every day until he dies.

Mercedes sits quietly, trying not to show that she was nervous for another round. The men from yesterday hadn't exactly intimidated her, but she doesn't feel comfortable with what they were telling her.

She sighs, "At least they sound like they want to help us."

Castiel had been silent on the first day of questions, just listening to everyone ask and the administration answer.

Second day, and he appears beside the young girl, standing like he did in the first day.

"They are keeping secrets from us," he grunts when Mercedes speaks up.

She looks over to the man, not sure if she'd seen him the day before or not. Maybe he'd just kept quiet?

"What makes you say that?" Mercedes asks, not sounding like she thinks it entirely impossible. She can't hand her trust to her captors just yet.

DAY TWO - Jason and Zo animusmods June 11 2011, 03:58:10 UTC
The man--wearing a doctor's coat, though the way he wears it makes it clear he's simply trying to make the association and does not usually traipse around in the garb on his days off--looks far more suitable for this presentation than the child kicking his legs at the chair beside him. It is the man who addresses the group first. He doesn't have the boundless enthusiasm of Dax, but he seems confident enough in front of others ( ... )

Again, Chaplin doesn't raise her hand.

"Why do we need the collars? I've noticed they aren't poisoned."

Jason nods at her, acknowledging the question. "Indeed, poisoning them would go against their purpose. You aren't from this world, of course, and the collar is necessary for stabilization here. I am researching other less obtrusive methods, but this is the current available option."

"Oh, well, if we need them..." She taps a finger against her chin. "Can I have a different color? Yellow clashes with my complexion. I'd much prefer purple, or red."
