Characters: Suzaku and you! all of you! Setting: In the Hallways Format: whatever Summary: Suzaku wakes up Warnings: Can Angst just be an automatic warning for Suzaku?
[There aren't a whole lot of reasons for Lloyd to be out in the halls, but today! Today there is. Though, much to his chagrin, that reason wasn't goin very well.]
...what in the world is keeping these together...?
[He is out there attempting to pry one of the terminals open, though the tools he's managed to pocket from various places in the tower aren't all that impressive. Very mundane stuff, alas. He's pretty intent on this task, so he's not exactly paying attention to who else might be wandering by.]
The strange lady who he had met had told him that Lloyd was in the tower, but seeing him in person was different altogether. Suzaku stood blinking for a moment, "Lloyd? What are you doing?"
"Do you really need to ask?" Lloyd would have thought if obvious. He leaves off trying to pry the machine open and whirls about to face the knight. He pats the terminal, atop the monitor. "I'm trying to get into one of these. I wouldn't mind seeing how it worked! Or at least some parts to work..."
"Well, yes. Apparently even the end of the world is unable to kill me, which would be much to the chagrin of the many who would hope it might... had any of them survived."
Lloyd had very few well-wishers, one could easily imagine. Not that any of it particularly bothered him, then or even now. He adjusted his glasses, if only to give himself something to fidget with, and looked back at the terminal he had been prying at.
"Oh, since you are here now, why don't you give it a try?"
Of course. No 'it's good to see you', no emotional reunions. Just business as usual!
"No one else survived?" Suzaku's voice was quiet, despite the fact that the girl he had spoken to, Stephanie, had said that the world hadn't ended hearing Lloyd saying it had made Suzaku go cold. Everyone was dead, everyone except him... and Lloyd? It made so little sense.
When Suzaku had first read the note he had wondered if it was thanks to the Geass Lelouch had put on him that he was still alive. Now he wasn't too sure but the result was the same, he was alive and almost everyone he had ever cared about was dead.
He was physically shaking but Lloyd's words brought him back to himself and he nodded and bent down next to the machine. "What do you need done?" Suzaku asked peering into the machine. End of the world or not some things never changed.
"Who knows? I could be true, it could be a lie. I don't have enough solid evidence to prove it one way or another, so why worry about it?" Lloyd waves the worry away. Wave, wave, see, no worries here at all.
"Now! To business. I need to find a way to crack the casing open! The things in this tower are such a pain to break, I swear."

Suzaku frowned but nodded, he suposed Lloyd was right and forced his brain to think of other things, like how to get into the casing.
He tried for a moment to prise it open with his fingers before giving up and standing. "Stand back," he murmered before delivering a kick to it to see if that would break it.

"What are you..."
Lloyd should have guessed. He retreated from the terminal's side when he saw Suzaku winding up for a kick and cringed when the monitor and keyboard went flying and crashing against a wall. The pieces of the smashed machinery hit the floor with a clatter.

"I was more hoping to crack into the computer itself, but that part didn't even budge. Oh well..." He'll just have to sigh dramatically and step over to the parts that did break open. What can he do with monitor and keyboard parts?
He might have to think on that for a while. Those parts are very limiting.
"Any of this will do. I'm sure I can come up with something using these."

Suzaku frowned and kicked the computer part again, it still didn't budge. He nodded and started to gather the parts from what they had managed to smash open. "Will these be enough?"
