...because hilarity will ensue.
So, about 3pm-ish, today, I notice some furtive movement on the other side of a car, next bay over.
Next bay over is our lead Audi tech. He's a bit mischievous. I also note the lead Porsche tech is over there, and when those two are looking furtive, something's about to happen. We've almost successfully strapped two different individuals into an office chair and sent them thru the automatic car wash, if that tells you anything.
Anywho... kinda keep watching that direction, when suddenly, from over there, comes a very loud sound.
You all know this sound, it's the sound of a train, close at hand, about to cross a road. They're required to sound the air horns repeatedly, so imagine that noise, inside a large cavernous shop, and you get a bit of an idea of why I was to be found on the floor, laughing my ass off.
One of them had taken 4 (!) air horns and rigged them up on a plywood board to run off one line, and as shop air is powerful and plentiful, they had used one of their air guns to sound it briefly. This thing was huge, each horn a good 2-2.5 feet long.
Wow, do I work at the right place. Work gets done in large quantities, but we still have fun.
