Getting more exercise

So in my last update I complained that I don't do enough exercise. I then actually did something about it. Starting the day after that update I have started biking on Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday and doing some Wii Fit on Monday/Wednesday/Friday. The biking that I did up until today was a 4.6 mile loop. The first day I did it, it took me almost 30 minutes. I was then able to drop that to 27, 25, 24, and 23 minutes pretty rapidly. I stayed at 23 minutes for about a week, and on this past Thursday I dropped it down to 22 minutes.

Today though, I did something different because I don't have the 'get into work' time constraint. I rode 11 miles, mostly on a rails-to-trails path. It took 57 minutes to go that 11 miles, with a couple of steep, but not very long, hills. The worst was the abrupt climb out of the Great Miami River's flood plain.

I am still seriously out of shape though. My legs are still a bit dead from it, and it was only 11 miles. It feels good to be doing something that I said I should do though. I think I'd like to do a century at some point, almost certainly not this summer, maybe next summer though.
