not feeling social today. Had to take Bill in town to get parts for his truck. Was up late last night reading till 2 and was up at 730 this am.
watched a tv series called Hit and Miss about a pre op transsexual who works as a hit-person. Filmed in Ireland and starring Chloe Sevigny. Is she Irish? she does the accent well. it stays in my mind. Seeing her naked with a penis is unsettling.
Almost cool enough to fire up the woodburner.
Feeling like getting in bed with my book.
Enjoying the ponies every day. They are mostly so gentle and wanting my attention. Never has started holding saliva in her mouth then opening it to let it dribble on the floor. She doesnt seem to be in any distress. I wonder why she is doing it. Is she just amusing herself? Or is it an indication of a med. problem?
Yesterday Giz had the stall door opened where the sawdust is stored, and a pile pawed into the aisle. He likes to roll in the fresh stuff.
2 apple trees in the pasture are beginning to drop apples. First thing when I let them into the pasture in the am , they go to see if any new ones have fallen. I shake the branches to give them more. They look like small versions of Asian Pears. and taste is similar. If pruned, those trees might really produce.
The shefflera tree Susan gave me has scale. those are almost impossible to eradicate.
Still sad about losing Pink.

my house needs cleaned.
fruit needs dehydrated.

yesterday I spent several hours mending the ponies' fly masks. They are hard on them, rubbing their faces on trees to try to remove them.
