Who: Naruto akatsukitsune and OPEN What: Naruto's just exploring the Tower for the umpteenth time Where: Gardens in section 7 When: Nao Warnings: Swearing prolly
Cobweb had, unsurprisingly, spent most of the morning throwing up. As if he did not hate everything about this pregnancy anyways. He was feeling a bit better now, enough to try exploring a bit. So far he had only seen the garden on his own level, and was curious as to what the others looked like. Gardens were, after all, his favorite place at home. Maybe it would help him calm down from the panic and despair he was still feeling

Scent, someone was there, Naruto knew as soon as they got close to him, well tuned senses picked up on them and he tensed out of training and instinct. But when Cobweb spoke Naruto relaxed, he didn't look like he meant him any harm... at least Naruto thought it was a he, bright blues focused on him for a moment before the blonde smiled.
"Hey!" He hadn't really talked to anyone here yet outside of his journal entry, not better time to start right? He pushed himself up onto his feet in a graceful movement, no energy wasted there. "You're not intruding at all, its nice to meet you." Itachi-san would surely be giving him that 'Naruto you idiot' look by now, but he wasn't here, so hah!
The blonde could talk to someone and be friendly without having to worry about being judged for it, it wasn't like he wasn't still considering this guy a potential threat, just that he had no reason not to be friendly so far right? "I'm Uzumaki Naruto." He introduced himself with a small nod, almost like he was confirming the fact for himself.
Cobweb was constantly surprised by how friendly all the people in this place were. They all seemed so quick to greet stranger, and genuine in their sincerity. There was no deception or hidden malice hidden in this Naruto's mind, he could sense that much easily. Things would have been so different at home. It took a lot of getting used to, not to have to be constantly wary, always on edge. He would have liked it if it had not disconcerted him so much.
"I didn't realize anyone else was here," He explained with a small attempt at a friendly smile. One hand began absently playing the the leaves of a nearby plant, fingers stroking them gently. "I'm Cobweb."
Cobweb? That was, an odd kind of name, but from what Naruto had seen the people round here did have all kinds of strange names unlike the ones he was used to. Naruto at least felt a little more sure that this was a guy he was talking to, right? Asking might be rude, especially if he turned out to be a girl, girls tended to hit when you asked something like that.
"Eh, don't worry about it." Naruto rolled his shoulders in an easy shrug. "I haven't really talked to anyone here yet, so its a good thing." He cocked his head, breathing in a scent, man... even the scent was confusing, like nothing he'd picked up on back home.
He had long gotten over the fact that this place was absolutely no where near the world he knew nor was it even the world that he knew. Long gotten over the idea of parallel realms and universes. It wasn't all that strange. Perhaps it was a high level genjutsu; but who, from his world, was strong enough to achieve this? Nothing was certain but that fact alone. Nothing was certain. It wasn't like there was much to do in his world that was quickly making its plunge down six feet into the ground. All of it

Naruto hadn't however, he was knew and he was still frustrated, and worried about his mentor's thoughts on the whole matter. Itachi-san was strict yeah, but he'd be worried about him right? Itachi used to leave him for days sometimes, out in the wilderness with the simple command of 'Survive' but he always came back and he always waited for Naruto

Sasuke watched that face with those deep ringed reds; but he didn't need those Sharingan to see exactly what Naruto was thinking. It was exactly what Sasuke would have been thinking-- had thought. He would come, he would come. He cared; of course he cared. Glorious big brother would come; and spread his wings around you; and wrap you tightly inside of him; and smother you with all of his beautiful pristine lies.
I know exactly what he's doing, his eyes said; Sasuke's.
And he kept them close-- those red ringed hues. Slid up to his feet with his back against the tree. Rolled back on his heels with ease and let his head roll againt the glass trunk to look at the blond. So much like him only more naive. He thought that was impossible. And Sasuke-- Sasuke was so much like his brother only more... insane; dangerous. His eyes spoke volumes of hatred and dispair. Filled to the brink. His skin white as paste and chakra, just the feeling-- just like Itachi. Dangerous. Only more. Much more. And he would have had that ringed neckless

Why not? Why wouldn't he think it? Itachi had looked at him, he'd been the first person to, the first one to care and refer to Naruto as anything other than the monster everyone else had thought he was. He'd taken the time to train him, feed him, give him clothes and weapons.
He'd never had any reason to doubt Itachi, and the fact he'd come... almost.
Their last mission, something about it had seemed wrong to Naruto, but that wasn't Itachi's fault, they were just doing their job right? But still... seeing that other boy, that other jinchuriki having the demon ripped out of him and dying like that
