So, my dad's board of rights hearing is today. We'll find out if he's fired, suspended, or someone else sticks his neck out and he can continue to work.
It's really a win either way. If he's fired, the board is past statute, so that's an easy win lawsuit. Suspended is the same. Otherwise he's back on the job. Either way, we'll be able to plan our year accordingly.
As for me, something in my writing career is about to take off. I don't want to reveal any more then that until I get a couple official green lights; partly because I might not, and also partly so I don't jinx myself. And my music? Well *shrug* It'll go. Re-acquainting myself with Dreamweaver so I can revamp my web site... Make look a hella lot more professional. Fixing up some of my unfinished compositions too. Stuff I've put off doing. Taking requests for commission right now, though I warn you, I haven't yet worked out how much I might charge. I'd like to start that out small. I'm not a greedy person, despite the claims a few knuckleheads out there who've not bothered to keep tabs on my daily goings on (Apparently said knuckleheads aren't aware that making such a supposition is called bigotry, but I digress).
Eh, at any rate, career wise, things are looking a trifle bit brighter....which is still close to pitch dark in the grand scheme, it's just...erh... well... I guess my eyes adjusted to the darkness is all so it only appears brighter....
Bah, we'll see what happens. The music's a definite either way things play out.
Oh, and in three weeks, six job applications, six applications turned away. Same old, same old.
