Well, the LBCC beaurocracy has decided to attempt to pull a fast one on me. I received a letter on the 24th informing me that my seats the classes I registered for would be relinquished to someone else if I failed to pay my tuition.... on the 20th. Now it's not like I wasn't going to pay it. Transportation for me is rather limited (I'm a lethal driver...) so getting there in of itself is a trick, and the bus trip takes hella long to get there and back, and it's rather a pointless trip if all I'm doing is going there to pay my tuition for that reason, especially when I've tons of other errands to be doing that I can't be putting off. So, last week, I made an appointment with the foreign studies councilor there to discuss transfer programs (not study abroad programs, actual transfers) to another country's university once I have the required credits and grades, and it was then that I'd pay the tuition. That date, is tomorrow.
This is rather frustrating, and rectifiable, normally. However, a friend of mine had a similar issue with LBCC, only his happened WHILE he was taking the courses. He attended every class, every lab, every lecture, scored well on exams, got a B grade in that course. Well, he gets a letter saying he hadn't payed the tuition (he had) and so his slot in the class was revoked... but since he'd already gotten a grade, they just erased the grade and took the credits away from him.
Between that and an observation by a friend that I seem to attract bullshit and drama and also added to my consistent issues with not being able to land a job still... yeah.
Of course the fact that I'm unhappy is obvious because when I'm frustrated seems to be about the only time I happen to post here.... hrrm...
