The World has got Younger | Мир Помолодел
Я обратила внимание, что последнее время мне все проще при знакомстве (будь то личным или виртуальным) с новым человеком обращаться к нему на ТЫ. Ведь оказывается, так случилось, что я нахожусь в том периоде жизни, что как-то все больше вокруг меня тех, кто младше... а если вдруг кто-то старше, то пусть ему и сорок, что на десятку больше моего, все-равно с ним на ты. А если все же попадаются те, с кем я все же на ВЫ общалась бы, так они настолько старше, и сами устанавливают такую форму общения, что сразу становится понятно, ведь они ко мне с высоты своих лет тоже на ВЫ, уважительное, а не возрастное.
Также про возраст недавно отмечала и проходя по соседним дворам, где на поле ребята, как я отметила для себя, - взрослые, играли в футбол. Я вдруг обратила на этих футболистов внимание и задумалась, сколько же им - последний раз, наверное, когда я так обращала внимание на ребят, играющих в футбол, также, как и на армейских солдатиков, например, они еще были моего возраста, или чуть младше/старше. А теперь вдруг снова взглянула на них, а они, оказывается, меня на 10-15 лет младше. Неожиданное открытие! Мир вокруг меня помолодел!
Любопытно ходить у школ, смотреть на старшие классы - мы же с ними вроде ровня?! Только почему-то я лишь в стороне наблюдаю за ними, а не тусуюсь с ними...
I paid attention that it's become so easy for me when getting acquainted with new people either in real life or via internet, when I haven't seen their photo or read their personal information, in the Russian language, to address them using singular 1st person you (unlike You as if either plural or singular but 2nd form, implying respectful attitude). It turns out that I am now in the period of life when almost everyone I meet is younger than me or when there's someone older, they're about 40 yo which is not a big difference for saying 2nd form respectful You. Those who I would really address with big fat You, are rare and they mostly disclose themselves by starting communication with the same You towards me, and this is not out of age difference, but really out of respect they generate towards their colloquitors.
Another time I thougt about age recently is when I was passing some neighborhoods where I saw adult guys playing football at a stadium. I suddenly kept my attention on the football players and questioned myself how old they could be. Last time I probably paid attention to footballers, the same as army soldiers, for example, they were my age or a bit younger/older. And today I looked at them and there is a way big difference between us of about 10-15 years. This is an unexpected discovery! The world around me has got younger!
It is curious to pass by schools and look at senior classes pupils - we're equals, aren't we? But for a reason I only watch them from the side and don't hang out with them...
