Dude, ok, Batman Begins.
Saw the movie tonight and it was amazing. This movie would
be awesome even if it didn't have Christian Bale in it. CB was
splendid at filling Michael Keaton's shoes and was wonderful as Bruce
Wayne. I actually stopped thinking of him as Christian Bale (and
forgot my urge to jump up and starting make-out with the screen) and
just saw him as Batman cause he blended into the character so
well....as CB is known to do...cause he is awsome.
Anyway, the Batmobile scenes are easily some of the most, if not the
most, insane and incredible chases I've seen. The effects were
great, the story was great and it was really accurate to the original
Batman. They really were true to the comic and really hit the
psychology of the whole story right on the head. -haha no pun intended. In Batman,
basically all significant characters except Gordon, Alfred, and Harvey
(before he got his face blown off) are totally mental, Batman included
but it makes total sense. If you're gonna be a villan like the
ones in Batman or be someone like Batman, you're gonna be totally
insane or have major psychological problems to deal with. The other
Batman movies barely touched upon the whole mental state of
Bruce Wayne other than the fact that he was sad and angry. It's
not like the movie made Batman look crazy, it just shows the major
emotional basis for why he is what he is, a very dark character.
He's not supposed to be a happy-go-lucky hero, but Batman can pull it
off without whining unlike some people *cough* spiderman *cough* This is by far the best Batman movie yet, and that is saying a lot, and it's definately one of my favorite movies ever.
Christan Bale has done it again, the whole cast is great. You can't go
wrong with Morgan Freeman (Fox) or Gary Oldman (Gordan), they both were
great. Katie Holmes does pretty well at portraying her character but
while she is talented, to me her acting ability always seems limited,
like she isn't quite making it all the way. I all the stuff I've
seen her in, when ever she tries to look sincere or passionate she
looks drunk with a lazy-eye, and it's the exact same face every
time. I think she still did ok in the movie though, course look
who she was working with.
