everyone has fest posts. i am no different. the power & the glory, bones brigade, same mistake, r.a.m.b.o., & my war. i just had fun floating around, record shopping for mike andrews. charlie flaked on my secret santa, fuck it. it's been discussed with a couple people, but i will expand on it here, i am burned out on hardcore and metal. i still listen to it, i still have a normal intake of it, but it's my own personal cream of the crop. there is only so much i can take. it's not even fair to just say those genres. i am burned out on new music. i need old music. since reformatting my computer, i have downloaded the weirdest things. i went to make a playlist of angry music for an angry subject that won't be posted here and realized i didn't have that much (situation in process of being rectified). what i did have was either amazingly, wonderfully cynical (afghan whigs "gentleman") or overly macho/aggressively cheesy (bury your dead "cover your tracks" & "you had me at hello").
i feel like not many people actually know me, or have misconceptions about me. this could just be my self image in contrast to how people really view me, which i never really know anyway because of my low self image and overall anxiety. i have become more of a shut in (thank you xbox), which i am fine with. i just need a new stereo. and to become cleaner.
i don't really have a resolution (honestly, i didn't even think about it until this morning), but i have decided upon one. to pretty much rip off, my resolution is to essentially annihilate every obstacle, self imposed or otherwise. i will conquer all. call me armageddon.
i honestly read everything that chad posts. he is the only livejournal that i have never skipped over. so in honor of that, i will now steal a page from him.
