The semester is winding down, and as usual I have a ton of homework projects to finish, as well as getting ready for my two trips coming up in the next few weeks. Still no idea about what I'll do about my school career after this semester though I really should decide what I'll do. I have to say though I feel more like leaving for a while, since I'm getting burned out by the school-thing currently. I'm gonna actually try to apply to teach overseas over the next few months, Japan or maybe Korea, have to see about JET too, though I want Japan since I can speak Japanese basically and I've already been there.
As it is, I have to come up with a sort of video project for the computer-tech class I'm taking. I was debating between doing something related to Japan/Japanese language, or something pertaining to science like weather or geology. Since I'm not working with anyone else like everyone else in my class and it dosn't have to be education-related(since I'm not in the teaching program anymore), it's a bit difficult to come up with a theme for the project. I have to have a voice-over narration(which is no problem), select from clips and put in music, but the thing is I have to have some kind of skit or demonstration thing as well. So I should really come up with something, but I'm open to suggestions... *_*
Last week I got injured at work, btw, I was putting cardboard into a baler we have at work, and when the door wouldn't close, someone who was helping me didn't see my hand was in the way and he slammed the door down. The first two fingers on my left hand, the index and the middle, immediately swelled up and started to really hurt. I did go to the hospital, but I was happy the x-rays taken revealed no broken bones. I do have to wear a splint on the index finger, as it has a hematoma around the tissue apparently. Both fingers are still pretty bruised, but I can now bend the middle finger and sorta bend the index finger a bit.
Other than being really busy, not much is going on, though I suppose I should work on the three-page essay all in *Japanese* before work in a few hrs. At least the nascar race is on today so I can watch that a bit. Maybe tomorrow or later this week I'll post about some of the toku-stuff I've managed to sneak in...
