attack of the toku-alums
I've been watching the drama series 'Mama wa new-half' via keyhole when it airs in Japan. I've been liking it for a while as it's very interesting and amusing when need be. The lead character, Iwataro, played by Kaneko Noboru is really good at playing a businessman who also appears as an 'okama' on stage at night, but for some reason he seemed a bit familiar to me.
Imagine my surprise to find out he was Gao-Red!
Probley old news but it's pretty cool to see toku-people doing new things. I mean, we have Gingaman's Gouki appearing on the recent seasons of Mito Koumon as the ninja Oniwaka, Sato Takeru as Otoya on Bloody Monday(not to mention his other roles like on ROOKIES), and now Noboru-san in this series...
