Been still busy the last few days, mostly been taking care of things and errands and such. Also been watching when I can, and just on the most part been relaxing. I know this is a calm respite like the eye of a hurricane, and as such, will emerge into the other strong part of the semester-storm. :/
As I mentioned, I've been watching a few things, mostly toku-sentai, and even had a chance to watch the US adaptation of Go-Onger,
RPM, which looks actually really cool. I have to say I really think that is what the Japanese should have went with for the Go-Onger plot and not the cracked-up episodic series with plot thrown in at the end. It would have been so cool for Sousuke to have the issues RPM-Red has, Saki to actually have personality instead of just being there most of the time, Ren...well, keep Ren as is but in the RPM plot-line, Hanto is the fast-talking con-man Ziggy is, and Gunpei the mysterious cyborg(though he was also cool when he had serious parts ^_^). Anyways, I do like Ziggy and Dillon in the RPM show, they're both great as the Secondary team people, and I can see them getting to do a bunch of cool stuff like Hanto and Gunpei once Ziggy gets to be RPM-Green. I think I may watch this for a while, though I'll still be comparing Go-Onger to this when they show the same scenes, as well as when I see the RPM people in the suits and catch myself thinking 'Gunpei!' or someone else.
I've also been watching Shinkenger and Decade, and Shinkenger is still not grabbing me yet in terms of the plot. Chiaki is still mostly the reason I watch it for, and he's not disappointing, but I am finding myself starting to like Mako/Pink too. Lately the female-sentai havn't been interesting imo, since Boukenger, but Mako is actually showing she can handle things as well and standing up to Takeru when needed.
Decade, on the other hand... WOW I like how they are making it very mysterious with Narutaki and his dimension-altering. I have to say I've not seen Blade or Agito yet, so I was clueless about Komata being an Undead until I read other people's reviews. I still like that Onodera is traveling with them, mostly I think he's there to knock Tsukasa down when his arrogance gets too much and to aid him when needed. I do hope he gets to Henshin and help soon, since it looks like he's feeling like loose baggage on the journey. I think Natsumi-kan is funny, and there to help/keep Tsukasa's attention on their main quest for the most part when she isn't in prison or Decade-bait. I think she may have a bigger role in things though as evidenced by her dream and Narutaki talking to her, as well her grandfather with his traveling photo-shop.
I can't wait til we get to Kabuto, Faiz(I'm very curious since I saw Tsukasa do the hand-flick like Takumi), and esp Den-O. Though I know they are gonna have the Den-O movie with Decade tossed in it coming out in May, it's not looking like Satou Takeru will return to do Ryotarou, even though Yuuto and all the Imagin will. Have to wait and see...
Guess I may watch more stuff, though I've also been working on Japanese homework at times since that's due next Monday when school resumes after Break.
