[Well, this is new. Kaito's not really used to the wild outdoors, so right now he's wandering around Camp Ground 1, wondering who else is here and what there is to do. At least it's nice out and he can't sunburn! Feel free to poke him, push him in the river, whatever you'd like to do.]

Way to notice. -- anyway.

Though he's not running, Len's eyes are open, but they're not their usual vibrant blue-green color.
Instead, they're red; sure sign of an error. But the hotel seems to have a (morbid?) sense of humor.
To anyone who is simply passing by -- in this case, Kaito -- it may or may not look like the blonde is simply resting up against a tree, knees to his chest, head bowed.
Not to mention, he still has yukata on from the festival.

A reboot will most likely be in order.]

[Hey, he noticed. Sort of. But he really just idly worried and figured that Len didn't want to talk to him for some reason. Anyway, when he first sees him he thinks he's napping, so he sits down next to him and pokes him. But when nothing happens he gets a better look and-- oh dear. Time to find that reset button.]

[It's a good thing this isn't like Chobits. When Kaito hits that button (who knows where, either on his arm warmers or on his neck) it takes a moment for Len to give a response:
it begins with his eyes slowly fading to their original color, followed by a some shifting and a small groan -- he hasn't moved for a while.

On the LCD display of one of his arm warmers, there's a message that, due to the nature of the error, some data may be lost.
Though he's working well - his system seems to be responding as it should.]

...Master..? What happened to you? You look a lot like -- [oh. wait.] Kaito-nii?

Yep, it's me! What happened? [Gives a concerned face and ruffles Len's hair.] I haven't seen you in awhile, so I was worried.

What d'you mean, "What happened?" [winces at the ruffling and slinks from it a little, only to back more into the tree and... realize he's under a tree.
and outside.] I just saw you yesterday. We got ice cream, remember? ...how'd we get outside, anyway?
[gives another quick look around.] Did Master shut us down to move us here?

[It's a bit slow, but very obvious when it dawns on him that Len doesn't seem to remember anything. He goes from a worried smile to a somewhat hurt, upset face. After all, if Len doesn't remember where they are... then he won't remember what they've been through, and that hurts.]

No, uhm... well, right now we're outside. But we've been living in a hotel for a few weeks now. You really don't remember? A lot has happened, with just the two of us...

A hotel? Are we performing here -- [takes a good look at Kaito's face, and wow, it's evident that something is wrong. he shifts so that he's positioned better,
a half smile on his face.] Hey, what's going on with you? Jeez, I wake up and the first thing I see is an upset Kaito-nii.
[the smile grows a little, and a perfect example of Len's little memory problems show themselves.] You're manly like me, right? [the smile develops into a little grin.] Besides, you saved me from all that scary stuff.

[Perks up a little at that last one. So maybe he does remember some things~]

Y-Yeah, I did, but... How do you remember that if you don't remember the hotel? We've been trapped there for a really long time. This is it, too, kind of... sometimes it changes into other places.

That didn't happen in a hotel. Didn't we go to it back home? It was kind of like a haunted house!
..but they didn't have monsters. There were really big... bugs, I think -- trapped? [okay, not a happy Len.] Well where's Master? And Rin? And Miku-nee and -- ...
[wait. this is the hotel? why is this so confusing?] How the heck does it change?!

No, it happened here. The hotel's kind of... magic. There are curses every day. The bug monsters were a curse. And I think we've both been girls at some point. And once you were in a dress and you beat me up with a baseball bat.

[There's... nothing really to say to that. He moves back into the position he was found in,
head resting on his knees. He's decided this is beyond confusing.

Either Kaito is malfunctioning or this is all... somehow true.]

[watches Len for a moment, then just sighs, and puts a hand over his face. This is all so difficult~]

...Do you remember what you told me?

I thought it was lulzy, okay. 8(

[Picks his head up to look at Kaito.]

What I told you? [makes a face at him. that is a broad question.] I've told you a lot of things, Kaito-nii.

Ah... don't worry about it. [second thoughts, get.]

I just thought, ah... Maybe you remembered what happened between us, is all. If you don't, I think... Well, I'll deal with it. I can be tough~

[trying really hard not to tear up, okay? He's putting a lot of effort in. And after a bit he decides to be bold and steal a kiss. Just a tiny one, before he scoots back, clenching his hands into fists in his pant legs, and looking down so Len can't see the really painful look on his face.]
