[ he's grateful that he's not cold anymore because he doesn't want to "cuddle" with anyone to get warm again, however what he doesn't find enjoyable is-- ]

And today, I sparkle.

Great. Hey, hotel, you gotta do better than that.

[Shirley is walking down the hallway as she notices that she's not the only one who's sparkley today.]

You too, Gareki?

Yeah, pretty much.

[She tries to dust the sparkles off, but it simply doesn't work.]

Then it must be the hotel again since I don't recall having these sparkles at all yesterday.

[ Shirley!sparkles go to Gareki, Y/Y? ]

I don't think normal human beings should be sparkling, so we can go with that.

I was afraid of that. What's your "curse" for today?

I'm Gareki.

[hey look, it's a certain eccentric pumpkin-carving lady! who's... floating a few inches above you. zero gravity ftw.]

What would you constitute as being "better"?

I was being sarcastic, but if the hotel is going to play tricks on us, then it shouldn't throw sparkles around.

I think plenty of us can tolerate that much.

I believe the sparkles are more of a running gag of the hotel's. It seems to enjoy switching genders, give speech impediments, and make its guests sparkle most of all.

Most of its curses are quite tolerable, really.

[ long pause ]

. . . . Switching . . . genders?

This would be the third time we've seen sparkles in some variation. I think it's rather fond of this curse.
