[Well hello there fellow kid. Here's a samurai child whose job it is to take the giant bird and pig his current household keeps for walks. He has the giant bird on a leash and the pig is sitting on its back, looking terrified, but staying put. He shuffles by until he notices the other young person, then stops and stares at her.]

[She stares at the new kid. It's no one she knows but she doesn't know anyone anymore. The pig is cute and the giant bird is a little strange looking but seems friendly. She wants to pet them but is wary of the other kid and so ducks behind a tree to continue to watch him.]

[Geh, why did that kid just hide. Souji frowns and takes a step back behind the chocobo's legs, staring out from behind it.]

[She creeps out from behind the tree comes in really close. Reaching out to touch the bird's chest]

It's so big. Is it a he or a she? What's its name?

[Soujirou sighs and the bird brings its head down, nuzzling Robin's head.]

It's a girl. Apparently. Her name is Tammy.

[She smiles as the bird nuzzles her head and reaches up to touch her beak.]

Hi, Tammy. She's really friendly. What does she eat? Fruit? Bugs? Small mammals?

[She looks at the boy.] I'm....um...Nico Robin, by the way.

[He stands there, looking awkward as the bird seems to take to Robin almost immediately.]

[Giggles as the bird leans down to wark at her. She strokes Tammy's head feathers]

Soujirou-kun. It's nice to meet you. [She bows her head a little] Do you live close by?

[He pauses, wondering how much he should say and how much he shouldn't. She's another kid like him, so being rude to her like he is with adults is difficult.]
