It began, I suppose, innocently enough. Strolling through the gardens always brought back frond memories. As I neared the edge of the property, I was most surprised to find an array of small bones littering the ground. I cannot believe I had totally forgotten about the Venomous Tentacula. The poor plant has been making due with strays and whatever delightfully unfortunate pets have strayed too close - some dog must have been its latest meal, as there was a collar bearing the name "Mr. Snuggles" stuck around a vine.
That was last week. Since then I have moved the plant closer to the house and it seems to be doing well on a daily diet of chickens. I found a book in the library on the species. Allegedly, plants fair better when you speak to them. If i must speak to something it ought to have name, so
I have named the plant Mr. Snuggles in honor of its independent survival. It's really quite adorable. And if the book is to be trusted, if I start feeding it children it will produce exquisite blossoms. I must try this. It seems like too much fun not to try. In the name of science.
Muggle children will should be easy to come by. They run rampant like strays anyway. I hear muggle children are absolute sluts for candy, snatching a few without magic should be simple enough.
