I can't wait for Summer!
We went to visit my grandfather today. It was so good to see him again. And when we got there, he told me to come with him and he gave me one of my grandmother's rings (she passed away in January). It's so pretty; I'm so happy he gave one to me. It's gold, with a ruby in the middle and 2 diamonds on either side of it. Absolutly beautiful. Bittersweet....
And because it was relativly hot today (35'C), I managed to convince my parents to take us to the beach for a while. I havn't been to the beach in like....2 years. The last time I went was with my Geo class. The water was freezing! I got dumped by a wave ^_^ Smooth, Kate. Real smooth.
And we almost weren't able to get home becuase of the bushfires burning across NSW. The freeway we use to get home was closed off and blocked with traffic, but it cleared...so it wasn't too bad.
And wow, it's October already O_o
