(no subject)
Wow, I haven't made a real post in forever. Things have been pretty good the last couple of weeks, busy but good. I've been up to my eyes in papers and math lately, and I'm starting a new class this Thursday. Environmental Science. From the looks of it there won't be much science involved, more likely it'll be papers about pollution, etc. I was sick as a dog Friday and Saturday, achey joints, fever, congestion the whole bit. My fever broke Saturday night, but that didn't stop me from playing up being sick to call off Sunday so I could see my Dad's graduation ;-) He got his MBA, I'm proud of him! He's pretty relieved to be done, I know he was under a lot of stress. Now he just needs to figure out what he wants to do. He's been talking about starting up a new non-profit organization, or working in tandem with Support Dogs again (service dog org that trains dogs for the handicapped/disabled/whatever PC term you want to use). He wants me to be involved with it, but I need to finish school before anything like that.
My instructor for Management Information Systems is so anal, she takes points off for not referencing the textbook in my paper, which we were supposed to get all of our information from to begin with :-P I know you're supposed to reference everything, but damn, that just seems redundant! She's also having us pick our own partner for the next team assignment. The only problem with this is that its an online class, and so finding a partner consists of trolling the class with messages like "Plz hlp, NEED partner, plz kthnxbye! PS no n00bs!!!!!11". Heheh, ok, not really like that but thats what it feels like, and those are the kind of messages that are clogging my school e-mail.
