Hey all~
Not a whole lot happened today
Watched Obama get sworn in, 'Live' today [not refed through generic australian news feeds] which was pretty neat yet I havent the faintest clue who the majority of the people were.
Also went to Target. I always saw it as the sorta upper market store out of Big W and Kmart but here its completely different. Like, they still have all what youd think target has but also a small dry goods and perishables section. Cans of whatever with frozen meals and milk... Pretty big 'WTS' factor there. Also borders... well.. pretty much the same there cept the logo is slightly different and is a different colour. Nice manga selection though =D
prices being slightly mis leading cause you forget about the currency conversion.
Also had my first go at american fast food today.. HOLY CRAP IS THERE ALOT OF IT. Carls Jr.. In the end the meal cost about the same as it would back home but the portions are incredible. Id say the 'large' cup would probably be 1.5litres worth of cola/whatever soft drink you can think of. Taste similar to hungry jacks but fries ...not like anything Ive ever had o_O was sorta weird and neat in the same go. Strangely fast service to... like, Im used to waiting but it was done in an instant o-o
But chyea, hope to explore more tomorrow and maybe go to Hot Topic cause ... I dunno just cause *flips out and spends lots of money~!*
Hope to stop by gamestop again tomorrow and spend money Xp
