My sister Shannon, who I haven't seen in almost a year, is coming to town a week from Tuesday. This means lots of drinks with my newly turned 21 Kate and heading to Branson, MO to see my Dad's side of the family, nieces, nephews, and my oldest sister Michelle. I haven't seen the majority of them since Dad passed.
I hope they don't continually bring him up. I'm a bit over the sadness at this juncture in my life.
Rob and I are still going strong...that's a good thing.
And I have discovered that Julie is a great person to thrift with...she yells out "bro alert!" and "cheesetastic" at the most random times. I wish I was in Chicago with her now.
