Have yourself a merry little christmas.
May I reiterate that Bellingham sucks? Because it does. Even more so that I now that officially have no friends in this stupid town, because they have all gone home for break. On the bright side, however, I will be on a different continent in like 13 weeks. Good deal. I am almost praying I get laid off from Costco on the 20th of January because it would be nice to be able to go home on a weekend or at all before march. My schedule at work has been ridiculous lately. Forty hours a week. (is it weird to anyone else that 40 doesn’t have a “u” in it?)
I love not having roommates any more though. I really like Caitlin but the other two annoy me to no end. I like coming home from work and not being bombarded with questions or them telling me I work to much. They freak out over the stupidest things. I went to baker alone and they were convinced I was going to die. People allow me to take their eight year olds down things I wouldn’t recommend the average skier try and they are worried about me.
Let’s see. Other things. After two months of working at Costco a total of 3 people know my name without looking at my name badge and only 15 can say it right after reading it. Is my name really that effing hard to say. I was talking to a two supervisor after work and told them that no one ever says it right. It was the first time that I have told anyone that they can call me Mo. Only a total of like eight people actually call me that but I will respond to it so why not.
Lastly, I am incredibly homesick. I haven’t been home in two months. That is a record for me. I also work every day between now and new years with the exception of Christmas. I also work Christmas eve until seven so the limited amount of time I actually get to spend with my family is even shorter. Did I mention not getting to see the home crew at all. The only person I have seen in two months is Rachael because she visited me and further confirmed that Bellingham sucks.
