Turtles Turtles Turtles The Whole Way Down
Christine and I had a hankering to do some walking at Flatbrook Park last weekend. We had been there previously when there was snow on the ground and wanted to see what the place looked like in full bloom. We enjoyed our stroll through nature and stopped to take in the view next to this quaint man-made pond near a waterfall and a wooden bridge. And as we sat there enjoying the nice weather and nature's splendor... and then this frickin' dinosaur came swimming out of the gloom and slime...
The picture doesn't do it too much justice. It was taken on a large rock leaning out over the water. This monster was huge and for a little wile seemed casually curious about us. Then it paddled around a bit and vanished into the muck again.
