[Rogue may pass this guy in the Battle Dome. He'll be working on a console and looking very distracted.]

[She'll double-take when she sees him, but 'live and let live' is her motto. She's not one to interrupt someone else's working, especially a stranger. Heck, if she had her way she'd be able to touch and be friendly like a normal person go the whole day without having to greet anyone.

So she'll just be about her business, calling up a Danger Room run.]

[Without looking up:] I wouldn't use that one if I were you.

I haven't reconnected all the wires yet. Who knows what it might do if you turned it on now.

You're kiddin' me, right? After all the mess this thing has caused over the past week, ya decided it was a good idea ta mess with it more?

[Don finally looks up from his work, and -- Wait. Does he know you?]

Um... Nothing. I'll fix it.

[He extricates himself from the one console, leaving several wires very obviously hanging loose, and moves to the other to finish putting it back to the way he found it.]

Very comforting.

[Why did people always feel the need to mess with things? She eyes that console a bit disparagingly.]

The interesting thing is that they made all these incredible upgrades without touching the hardware.

[Surely everyone finds efficient code to be a beautiful and fascinating thing.]

Is that too surprisin'? They make incredible 'updates' on us without touchin' the hardware.

[Every month or so like clockwork.]

Well, I wouldn't call those 'incredible'. More like 'interesting but in serious need of beta-testing'.

[He closes up the panel of the console and rocks back on his heels.]
