I enrolled yesterday at the ol' K-State. I'm taking US History, Calculus, Expository Writing, and an a couple of intro classes.

I'm getting ready to go west for our vacation. We're going to the Grand Canyon first, and we're going to go to the north rim, which is less crowded, but more out of the way. I want to stop at the giant crater in arizona (I believe its called winslow, not sure though) but my mom is convinced that its just "a big hole in the ground", so we may not go to it. We'll make a few stops in the City of the Angels. I want to see the U.S. bank tower, I have an account with that bank, but more importantly, the tower is the tallest building west of the mississippi. We'll also stop by Grauman's Chinese theatre and see the walk of fame. I'm trying to convince my parents to drive through compton so that I can say that I've been to the 4th most dangerous city in the U.S. (in case you were wondering, Flint, MI is number 3, Detroit is number 2, and St. Louis is number 1). The hollywood hills will provide a good vantage point for some pictures of the city at a distance, that's assuming that the smog isn't to thick for good pictures on whatever day we're there. Then we'll travel north to San Francisco. We'll visit the curviest road there is(lombard street), Chinatown, South of Market, AT&T Park, the Transamerica Pyramid, Alcatraz, the Golden Gate and Oakland Bay Bridges and maybe ride a trolly car. After this we'll go north to see Yosemite National Park and the great redwood forests (like the ones where they shot Endor for Return of the Jedi). Finally, we'll travel back to the navel of the nation.
This vacation is expected to be nearly two weeks long and will be done entirely in a small car. Patience will be tested, tempers will flair, but hopefully some fun will be had.

The star wars parody is still in the pre-production phases. The script is about 30%, but hopefully I can finish it before I get back from the trip.

My insomnia is still happening, but hopefully I can reset my sleep cycle on vacation.
