(no subject)
Today:
- Babysat from 10-2 today, which was easy. I've said it before, and I've said it again.. Ty is such an easy kid to babysit. I couldn't ask for an easier kid to look after, he's always good as gold. Easy money ^___^
- Done a few paid requests.. still got some to do, but they can wait until tomorrow. Everyone that's still waiting has (as far as I know) already received a few icons from their set, so that should keep them happy for now.
- Ben came round and we hung out, were incredibley lazy, and sat around watching for the entire afternoon & evening near enough.
In general:
- I finally got around to starting to stretch my ears. I've only started on the right one, because I can't afford to buy two sets of tapers, so I'll do one and then the other. It's upto about a 8 gauge now, which isn't that big but I only started last week ;)
- Everyone should go listen to Mediaeval Baebes. It's not to everyons liking, but I think theres at least a couple of people on my friends list that might like it. They're labeled as classical, and have made it to the number three spot in the UK classical chart with their latest album, but don't let the word 'classical' put you off. A couple of their songs are sung in Cornish, and theres many in other languages including 18th century Swedish. They have a real fantasy feel to them.. & two of the members are from Cornwall. It's an all girl band and I really like them. My mum vaguely knows the dad of one of the members (he's a local artist) and one of them is from just a few miles away from where I live, which is pretty damn cool. Anyways, enough of my rambling.. go listen!!
- I'm getting bored with the internet again.. I need to find other things to occupy my mind.
- Wonka Triple Dazzle Caramel bars = heaven. I usually don't eat chocolate, but these are white choc with a caramel centre and it's LOVELY. Ben bought me one today and it totally made my day, haha. The simple things in life keep me happy ^___^
- I'm nervous about starting college. I get my exam results the day after tomorrow I think. I don't think I will of done too badly, in fact my expected grades are pretty damn good, but of course I still feel slightly nervous. Well, not even nervous.. just anxious to know what I got.
- Jena sweetie I'll make your icon tomorrow, along with everyone elses.. I'm really not in a graphicy mood right now.
- I'm working on a huge set of icon/graphic tutorials, covering all (I hope) the questions I get asked.. so if theres anything you'd like me to include let me know. It won't be done for a while yet though.
- I will eventually get around to re-doing my layout. I made myself a new header, I'm just too lazy to actually put it up. Comments on it (and the rest of the entry fuckers!) please!
- I'm off to try and catch up on my friends page. Sorry for being so non-existant comments wise :(
