Ok so its about time I update my journal a little. I arrived in Boston on Sunday night after a lengthy drive that was made worse because apparently people in Hartford, Conn forgot how to drive in the rain. Regardless I made my way to my new apartment and was greeted with a little...ok a lot of rain so it delayed my unpacking a bit. My cousin showed up and helped me unload my car and then he departed and I took to start setting things up. Monday I took a nice walk to campus and turned in my immunization forms and got my new student id. I then hit up the bookstore and decided to get a Boston College Dogeball t-shirt because thats is just bad ass. I then hit up my department and went to lunch with my prof and one of his friends and then meet some of the people around and toured the grad students offices. Tuesday I just hung out and set more stuff up and went grocery shopping. I then went to hang out with my cousin and some of his friends. Today I went back on campus and got my keys for my new office and for the lab I will be working in for the most part. I took some pictures on my phone so you can see my building and then the view from the window in my cube.





I decided tonight that I am going to go to Home Depot in the morning and get some paint and start to paint my room so its a little brighter and will be easier since I don't have my bed in here. Well thats it for now, more to come soon.

Oh I also ran into the BC Eagles today...it made my day!
