So yesterday I accomplished my goal of going to IKEA in south Philly. I got eh shelf unit I wanted and the wine rack to go on it. I also got these little lights to mount on my entertainment center so you could see my rock collection better. I must say I am quite fond of setting up furniture and decorating. Anyone have an interior design firm I could work at part time.
In other news I watched the most recent Harry Potter movie (B+), Elf (B), and the Terminal (A-).
I also talked to my one project manager as I asked him to be one of my recommendations for graduate school. He seem surprised by the whole thing and wanted to know how soon I was leaving. I still need to inform him that a lot of things need to fall into place before I actually leave for school. BUt he said he would do it, which brings my total up to the required 3 I need.
This morning I was up rather early so I returned my movies and went grocery shopping. I went a little nuts and spent 2 times my normal 20 self impossed limit. However I won't need to go shopping for at least 2 weeks so I suppose that makes up for it. I also cut down my train layout to the right size so it fits in the dining room niche and organized that portion of the apartment. I also straightened up the kitchen and living rooms and started some laundry. Quite productive if I must say so myself.
I also purchased a wireless card for my soon to be laptop. It should come in handy around the apartment however I will still have the networking card for when I am on the road. Excellent, I might add I got it for an astounding 4.99 thanks to rebates and a keen eye online.
The christmas list has been posted in my profile and the convo of the week has made a triumphant return. Christmas cards will be going out early this week. So if you are special enough, keep an eye out for one.

And finally I would just like to add that tonight is my second to last night working at the ice rink!!! WhooHooo
