A new beginning
...for no particular reason. After seven and a half years I decided to make a new Livejournal. I was tired of the moniker, "touchmedirty" for one thing. I'll probably update both for a while while people catch up to the new one. The new journal is
cwldarling, which is my first three initials and my last name, for those of you just tuning in. My first and last name together which is what I initially wanted, are too much for livejournal, apparently. Please add it to your friends list and commence ignoring this one. Kthnx.
So I don't work at Laughing Buddha anymore. It was short-lived. I'm not really broken-up about it, the discount was awesome but it really wasn't that awesome of a place to work. The boss lady is kind of mean and unreasonable which never really works for me. I'm kind of trying to find another part-time job but I'm not in a huge hurry. I can deal with just my income form Century Ballroom for a while, as long as I'm thrifty. I might just enjoy the time off (although today I find myself with hours stretched ahead of me and not a single thing planned, thus I make a new Gmaill address, Livejournal and eventually Facebook, when I get around to it).
Yesterday I spent some time with blueeyestunned and then had dinner with Ricky. It was the first time in a very long while that I had called anybody to hang out just because I was bored. Not having two jobs is weird for me now, I don't really now what to do with spare time. Next week I am supposed to go back to my friend Brent's farm for a day and a night which I am definitely looking forward to.
Sunday and Monday I am shooting scenes for a HUMP film entitled, DOUCHE: Dry and Sandy which is a parody of the 1984 film DUNE. It's only eight minutes long and parodies the first twenty-ish minutes of the movie (about three scenes). It's going to be fucking hilarious and I'm really excited to start shooting. I'll be receiving a copy of the HUMP submission as well as a Director's Cut which will be a lot longer and contain much more material. Be sure I will be having a screening party at my house after I get my copy.
I'll have a nice picture post coming up soon with shots of a few of my recent mods that I haven't bothered talking about yet, although a lot of you have already seen/heard about them. Hopefully this by weekend I'll have some pictures taken.
