Gutted and not gutted at the same time. The hospital rang me a minute ago to say my op is next week. I have to go in on Thursday the 25th and have the op on the Friday.
Gutted because I'm gonna have to miss Maureen's birthday! And fun drinking sessions were planned for the whole of that week with Lois' parents being away. And just to top it all off, I've then only got a week to recover for my birthday. :( Tis not gonna happen.
But can't complain cos I've been waiting for 6 months for this op.
I'm getting scared now. I don't like my surgeon, he has scary eyes. And I need to know, just how naked am I gonna be led there while he pulls things out through my belly button?!
I'm gonna go and write down everyone's phone numbers so I can invite you all to visit me heh. I'm gonna be so bored!
