hospitals suck
i hope the woman in the volunteer services isn't upset with me. i sort of signed out and left without telling anyone except the sweet asian girl i met last week. i didn't feel well and i just told my unit (that doesn't want me, or have anyyyything for me to do EVER) that i would go back to the office and see if i was needed for anything and said goodbye to them for that afternoon. the sixth floor is under construction and when you get off the visitor elevators, the signs are duct taped to the walls, they used to all be leaning against the wall on the floor. duct tape is an improvment. and there is a man with a very small paint brush painting random sections of the wall outside of the rooms trying not to cause any disturbance. you can tell hospitals make him uncomfortable. and the entire time i was eating in the cafeteria there was a sweet asian doctor who was occasionally looking over and smiling at me. i'll marry him if it doesn't work out with the attractive middle eastern doctor that i always happen to run into when i'm lost/delivering things.
