i passed intro to macroeconomics. believe it or not i was rather worried that i was going to fail it, but alas, i've dodged another academic bullet, and since it's p/f it won't affect my GPA for the better or worse.
so. there's the good news. more good news: second straight white christmas. the only thing that sucks about these white christmases is that since my ass is always staying out till all hours of the night, and somehow i always find myself on the highway driving friends home in the middle of the night, dealing with some of the ugliest weather. and since i'm out of practice driving, it's always disconcerting. still, this year wasn't nearly as bad as last year, where for a 100+ mile drive, my visibility was about 10 feet max and i couldn't drive over 40 miles per hour on the highway. hell. i was lucky i made it home.
both of the past two years, i've turned onto my street, noting that i've been the first person to put tire marks into the fresh snow. silliness.
i called my dad this morning. his phone went straight to voicemail. my mom told me that she wouldn't be surprised if he had left the country for some sort of vacation, to get away or something. that's cool and all. not that i really mind personally, but he didn't get christmas presents for any of us except for my mom. that's just his thing, whatever. i'm not going to think about it because it's going to make me upset.
and the last thing i want to be today is upset.
