r.i.p. geese.
i hate people. today when i went to work i saw three of the canadian geese that always hang out at my workplace in the middle of the road dead because someone ran over them. excuse me, but geese don't exactly dart out into traffic, they tend to move slow. i can't help but think that if someone was paying any attention at all to the road and not speeding they would have seen them before hitting them. i guess thats too much to ask though because whoever did it was probably too preoccupied being a selfish suburbanite to care.
its so absurd to me that we build our fucking shopping malls in the middle of what was once a wetland and don't give a second thought to the animals that lived there or what it is we're destroying. is it really that important for us to have another place to shop? honestly, i would have been less upset today if it had been three people who had been hit instead of three animals. =(
