I didn't have them off when I was talking to him! I think it was a him. You see, this angel came into the library earlier wanting a book on ravens or rooks or crows... some sort of bird. I showed him the one we had on wildlife, and he wanted to borrow it. I told him no since it was a reference book. He wasn't pleased, and I informed him that if he kept it up, he'd make a great tree topper for our Christmas tree.

Long story short, I have to take off my shirt and jacket when I go down in that watery pit to look for more books. They tend to get caught up on things down there. When I came back up, my clothing was gone.
