It still hadn't hit Persephone quite yet what she and Ivy had done. It was one step closer to their plan of making the world a greener place, but... It was too late to chicken out now, she supposed

Training went much faster if Robin pretended the robots he was fighting were Slade. Their uniform costume design made that easy; only the metallic echo as his attacks connected gave them away. He was down to the final two when the communicator beeped, letting him know that he had a new message.
"Don't eat the apples?" Fist connected with metal, Robin searching for the panel that protected the robot's vital functions. "What on earth ..?" It took a few minutes more of struggle before the robots were down, and Robin had the opportunity to consider the message. By then he'd already worked out who'd sent it, and had a few theories why -- none of them theories he liked.
You may be the Queen, but I hope you're not mistaking me for Snow White.
Preliminary results are in and Persephone is right -- Robin does not like this one bit. Although part of him is impressed despite himself. Her powers are rapidly improving; she'd not have thought of this a month ago.
There's a long pause before Persephone responds, unsure of what to say. On one hand, this is a step towards making the world a better place and she is technically queen of the dead, after all; this shouldn't be bothering her. But at the same time, it's making her nervous and she's not sure why.
Keep an eye on the news tonight. It shouldn't be much longer before it happens.
It'll be happening now. Robin doesn't need to have the Titan's link to the Jump City special services. Slade's got most of them bugged, it doesn't take Robin long to tune into the ambulances.
Lots of ambulance call outs. Not going to take long for someone to put two and two together. Or someone to make an anonymous tip. Robin's secure line goes dead before he can use it, however, and as he's trying to work out what's happened, a throat clears behind his back.

Close, but you won't have a prince to save you, princess.

Robin glances at the clock. Slade should be back any moment. If he's caught in the labs--
Then again, not knowing what Persephone's done? No contest.
Never did like fairy tales.

She bites her lip, looking down at the screen of the communicator, having second thoughts. If Ivy knew...

Can't say I'm a fan so far.
