We've had quite the nice day today. First of all, we (well, I) slept til 11, which I am generally too old and responsible to do any more. I used to sleep until noon or later all the time on the weekends, but somehow it seems that if I keep my hours during the weekend a little more similar to my hours during the week, I don't have the horrible insomnia problems I used to have. WHO WOULD HAVE EVER THOUGHT? Anyway. Tangent. We slept late, and then we immediately jumped on doing just about bloody nothing all day. We read and played computer games and generally futzed around, until it was nearing dinner time, which we spent with J&A, who we haven't seen for ages. We had a lovely evening, although Carabbas Italian Grill was a horrible disappointment. The food is generally better at Applebee's and that ain't no compliment, let me tell you.
I was honestly a bit afraid that today was Sunday on the way home, since it feels like we've already had a full weekend, which is pretty neat. Tomorrow I'm going to try to be Very Productive and do bookwork all day. Well, not all day, let's be realistic for a change, but for several hours. I've got edits to type and notes to transfer to files and outlines to fill out and organize and names that need replaced and I don't know what else, but there's bunches of it.
And now I guess it's time to go play with my old friend insomnia again, not least since we stopped at Starbucks on the way from Carabbas and sat there and drank frappuccinos until 11, when they closed. BZZZT.
