Today was almost like a regular Saturday at home, minus a certain tiredness and some itchy eyes. I'm so ready for this sick to be over with.
I bribed K into editing my book for quite a bit today. I did house work while she edited, which had me vacuuming the whole house, cleaning both bathrooms, including the toilets and the shower, doing the dishes and fixing the windshield of the car. While she sat at the computer and read. Hmm. I wonder if I got a good deal here?
We took a drive out to check on the house we looked at somewhat seriously, and the people who bought it had done exactly what we said we would, and cut down the big spruce tree in front. They had also turned the extra room back into a garage, which we wouldn't have. We were kinda glad to see that the neighborhood seems to have gone just ever so slightly downhill. It would have sucked if it was all idyllic and lovely now since we didn't buy it. We had dinner at Panera which always made me happy, even if it wasn't quite as good today as it has been.
I got some mando work in! First time in... forever. I'm so close to having this one done, and it's kinda frustrating that it never gets completed. Ah well. Soon. And yay you! There will be pictures galore when that happens! Wasn't that exactly what you were dreaming of?
And, uh, yeah. It's feeling a little bit like we're getting back into the whole swing of life thing here this weekend, partly due to the spring weather, I'm sure, and I'm so ready for it.
