Going to a downtown address to drop off some job applications and used mapquest to get directions.
After I see it on the map, I realize where it's at. It's about 4-5 miles to where I'm going and will take me less than 10 minutes. Need to turn three times and I'm there.
Mapquest recommendation? (Actual street names removed, but you get the idea.)
Start out going Southeast on A toward WAY. 0.1 miles Map
2: Turn LEFT onto WAY. <0.1 miles Map
3: Turn LEFT onto WAY. 0.7 miles Map
4: Turn LEFT onto BLVD. 1.1 miles Map
5: Turn RIGHT onto RD. 1.5 miles Map
6: Turn LEFT to take the W ramp. 0.2 miles Map
7: Merge onto . 4.5 miles Map
8: Merge onto W via exit number toward WAY. 8.5 miles Map
9: Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto W. 1.5 miles Map
10: AW becomes W. 11.2 miles Map
11: W becomes BLVD. 2.4 miles Map
12: Turn LEFT onto DR. <0.1 miles Map
13: End at Ln. Map
Total Est. Time: 47 minutes Total Est. Distance: 32.33 miles
If I'd got in the car and randomly driven around downtown until I found the place it would have been faster than 47 minutes. I'm so glad I have all this technology to make my life easier.
