K is listening to Swedish radio again. This is tremendously disturbing to me. By now I think in English, and it tends to take me a few seconds to switch back to Swedish. It also takes me a bit to switch back to English after that. So the radio is on, which means I switch to Swedish. And then K says something, and I am supposed to be intelligent enough to answer.
-Uhhh... Jo, alltså, det... uh... I mean, yeah!.
-What did you say?
Uhm, nothing. Who wants desert? *rapidly leaving the room*
We got up at a fairly decent time today, which is a little unusual. Went up to Elliott County and I spent the entire day in the shop. I was planning to have some nice and quiet mandolin building time to myself, but it turned out that today was the big bi-decennial Clean The Shop Day. Greg (K's dad) was taking some of his larger power tools home to put in his shop building, and while we were moving his stuff out, someone decided to clean up. Cleaning up the shop is a slightly bigger project than you might assume. In some areas, the saw dust and wood shavings were a foot deep, and this shop building is something like 1200 square feet. It took four people four hours, but it does look a lot nicer now. And I did, in the end, get some time in to do some mandolin building, so I'm pretty much happy. What's annoying now is that I wanted to go out in the shop here and do some more, but suddenly it's 30 degrees, and just not that suitable for gluing. Oh well. I figure I'll think of something I can do out there even if it's cold. It's really ridiculous how excited I get about this mandolin building stuff.
*Whew* I just spent... At least half an hour going through MP3's so I could find something to put in the Current Music box. I really have a lot more MP3's than I'll ever listen to. Hmm. I guess I need to get one of those nice little portable MP3 players so I can listen to it all. After all, it'd be an awful waste not to listen to it!
Oh yeah. Today, my desk is covered in maple wood shavings. The mystery uh... gets... mysteriouser.
