- The fall television schedule will be more crammed with shows than usual due to backlog of projects delayed from writers strike.
- Someone in Bush's cabinet will mumble something about kinda-sorta-maybe chatting with Hamas indirectly as Israel is kinda-sorta doing that already and then retract their statement.
- "Safer" money products such as treasuries will increase in value as worry about a commodity bubble popping increases.
