It was indeed a wonderful day
It was a wonderful day. I'll just sum up.
I woke up this morning (it was a nice wake-up, just peaceful), I had an array of foods for breakfast and lunch at the Icardi's, my girlfriend's father and I had a conversation in private that went very well (no threatening and he likes me), we had a great ride back to Tally, I basically settled back into my room, had a great bowl of Progresso Chicken Noodle, helped Lois do some dishes (good brotherly time), helped Lauren settle back in from break (good times), and now I just had such a great conversation with God that I'm on the brink of crying (usually takes an act of God), and now I'm going to do a little work out and go to sleep in my comfy bed.
Four months ago I could have never imagined I would be where I am today, this happy, this confident in God, just all of this! Its amazing after going through this semester which burned me so deep that I am forever changed.
Did I mention that she made me a Christmas ornament that says, "You Make It Feel Like Christmas All Year Long." That's awesome. I feel the love, its so awesome because its given and received and given and received thus making it the gift that truly keeps on giving.
Sweet dreams everyone, sweet dreams. May the morrow bring its challenges and its pleasures as it may but for now I lay to rest in solace.
Praise to God, praise to the Almighty Creator of the Earth, praise to the One who provides my food and shelter, praise to the King of kings and Lord of lords, glory and honor forever to the Almighty God. You Lord are my strength, my shield, my confidence.
