..getting older
Hmm... I don't really feel that much older. Kind of strange to have my birthday on Easter, but... When I woke up this morning I didn't feel any different. My headaches still feel the same (joy...), I don't seem to be any taller (thank goodness), I don't feel any more mature (I'm mature?), I don't think I look any different... So...
What exactly is the big deal about turning 20? ^_____^
I know that in Japan, 20 is the age that is the most imporant transformation from childhood into adulthood. It is the year that will shape the rest of your life, perhaps. Hmm. Well, I suppose I should get busy on that, no?
But, really, I kinda like being "older", though I'll miss those teenage days when I could get away with more because I was only a "kid", right? Heh... maybe.
Well, from this old lady's point of view... The end of one thing can only mean the beginning of another. And with all my friends, my family, all loved and all cherished... I think that things are looking pretty good for a start.
