The weekend after his birthday, Skye calls pretty much everyone he's ever met and invites them to this place for his birthday party. Which, thanks to Cory's genius, is a masquerade complete with live band and fancy-ass ballroom

His wonderful, mindblowing costume consists of a normal shirt, normal pants, normal hair, uncovered face and one nametag that says Dick.

"I'm guessing that either you've drastically altered your appearance with Magic, or that your masquerade is a joke and your name isn't really 'Dick'."

Because there remains doubt to whether one has met this person before, thanks to memories lost to nightmares, but this is one of the only people in ordinary clothing and it makes him curious.

"I don't do magic." So, yes, joke it is.

"Well then. I'll pretend you're really Dick and you can pretend I really look like this. Take a girl for a dance?

"Hey there, Dick." Skye, being Skye, finds this funny as hell, laughing as he slings an arm around Dick's shoulder. "You're a hilarious motherfucker, y'know."

"I'm not sure it rates hilarious." Skye's probably drunk and/or high. And Dick doesn't care.
