Days are long. Nights are longer.

Something had to happen. I've gone too long without something going wrong. After a delightful discussion in Fiction Writing I walked down to my bike to make the short trek home. Upon arrival at my bike lock I put the key in to turn and it was stiff. I mean it wouldn't move a bit. It's been this way since the last good rain we had. I suppose it got rain in the metallic moving parts and so corroded and has now seized. I turned until the key couldn't take it and it broke. Broke off right inside the lock. Figures. It's mid-to-upper 30's outside and I am faced with walking to my apartment.

It's not a long walk but it's no hop and skip away. I call my roommate. Nope, she's at work. Called Steve - headed into class. That's it though. I couldn't ask some of the other friends for a favor. Rachel would do it but she's in Antioch. Ex-girlfriend's are no good for favors so there's another person. I wish I had the number for Stacy, she's a nice girl. She'd do it. Damn. Here I am sitting in the library typing away at Livejournal while I wait for Steve to get out of class.

I only got 4 hours of sleep last night and I'm altogether dehydrated. My mom called me to hassle me about graduation and I have a huge paper to finish for tomorrow. Tommorrow, damn. I have a meeting with my advisor at 10 a.m. and then class from 1-6p.m. Going to be a long day and I'll to drive to campus and park way too far away.

Comment! I'm bored!
