So

Well, I've actually had a pretty eventful weekend, for me, at least. Normally, Saturday is spent eating Panera, grocery shopping at Walmart, and seeing a movie or watching SVU. Well, Saturday, Paul, Christina, Kerri, Ashley, Amanda and I went ice skating at Ice Zone in Lake Worth. For the record, ice skating is much more fun when you're with little kids, because you always look WAY better, or when you are REALLY good at it. Otherwise, the skates just REALLY hurt your feet after a while, but I still had lots of fun. Just doing something different for a change was nice. Afterwards, we went to my house for a little bit, and met up with Kerri, Lorraine, Chase, Alberto, Alex, and two of their other friends at Bru's Room for dinner. Paul, Christina and I only ate dessert, though, because we had just eaten a late lunch at Hurrican Alley. After dinner, Chase, Alberto, and the two other girls left, and Lorraine, Kerri, Alex, Paul, Christina and I went to go see The Devil Wears Prada. *Sidenote: We saw Superman on Friday night, and it was REALLY good.* We ran into Sam while we were there, he shaved his head! I guess he had a fight with his boyfriend, and was outside because he had been embarassed and was really mad. We offered for him to come with us, because he was seeing the same movie and we'd give him a ride home, but he went back inside to try to make things better.
That right there kinda showed me that he's growing up a lot, which is really awesome to know, because it will save him in the end. Anyway, the movie was pretty good, especially because this older lady came and sat RIGHT next to Paul, and then used her flashlight in the theater to signal over her like 90 year-old boyfriend. "Pretty sneaky, sis!"
Today, Paul and I had to sing a duet in church for communion, so I couldn't go to South Palm. After church, Paul, Christina and I were supposed to go to Blowing Rock, but it was cloudy out and supposed to rain all day. Instead, I suggested we go to Norton Art Museum or the Boca Raton Museum of Art or to Flagler Museum, all of which were shot down by Christina. Instead, we decided we would go to Blowing Rock anyway and just leave once it started to thunder and lightning. As we were driving there, because it's aLL the way off of Indiantown Road, we stopped at the California Pizza Kitchen in the Gardens for lunch. By the time we were done eating, it was already 4pm, and Blowing Rock closes at 4:30pm, so, we headed back home, and we've been watching SVU and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and eating ice pops ever since. Back to our boring old lives, but content.
I really want to go to Quiet Waters Park where you can go cable skiing and do all these awesome things, to Seven Lakes, The Metro Zoo, The Miami Sea Aquarium, Monkey Jungle, and the art galleries before the summer is over. At least to a few of them, for something different every now and then.
On the 4th of July, we are having family over here for a cookout at 2, then I have to go to Kerri's house for a party around 5, and afterwards, Paul, Christina and I, so far, are going to 4th On Flagler to see the fireworks. Should be fun. Wednesday is back at work, and I cannot WAIT!
