MEDIUM DIFFICULTY; UNTRANSLATEABLE; DONE USING PS CREATIVE SUITE 3. INCLUDES SELECTIVE COLORING.
1. Create a 100x100 base. This tutorial works best with images that are comprised primarily of yellows, reds, and blacks, but is very versatile.
2. Layers → New Adjustment Layer → Brightness/Contrast. Change Brightness to +10, and Contrast to +10.
3. Layers → New Adjustment Layer → Selective Color. Reds → -100, +55, +100, +100. Neutrals → +50, -50, -50, 0.
4. Layers → New Adjustment Layer → Hue/Saturation. Master → 0, +15, 0.
5. Duplicate your base. Set copy to SOFT LIGHT (100%).
6. Layers → New Fill Layer. Fill with #1A0900 and set to EXCLUSION (100%).
7. Layers → New Fill Layer → Solid Color. Fill with #FFD199 and set to MULTIPLY (100%).
8. Layers → New Fill Layer → Solid Color. Fill with #FFBFFB and set to SOFT LIGHT (100%). If this makes your base too light, change the opacity.
9. Layers → New Fill Layer → Solid Color. Fill with #BFFFF5, and set to COLOR BURN (100%).
10. Layers → New Adjustment Layer → Selective Color. Reds → -100, +40, +100, 0. Yellows → +100, +25, 0, 0. Reds → -100, +55, +100, +100. Neutrals → 0, +20, -20, +5.
11. Paste
this base by Captain Sarah and set to LIGHTEN (100%).
And you're finished! The product should be brighter and more colorful than it's original base.
