The school was quite prompt in finding accomidations for me. Apparently my dorm is located between a "Snake" and
"Shabunga." I do not believe I have had the pleasure of meeting either; perhaps I'll introduce myself once I'm settled in.
Not that there is much settling to do, admittedly. I own very few material possessions, and I couldn't have flown here with furniture strapped to my back. I do not need much; I sleep standing up, so a bed is little more than a luxury. All I require is a place to write. Even so... there is a certain loneliness to such spartan conditions. This is hardly conducive to the creative flow.
I... have never had a place of my own. I scarecely know where to begin. Perhaps I should turn to those around me for inspiration.
